As they say, "If you've met one child/person with autism, then you've met one child/person with autism". Rob and Katie take this to heart. They have been incredibly flexible and tenacious in customizing the right program for our son and our family. They have worked directly with our speech therapist, taking us out of being the middle man and ensuring our "team" is extremely well coordinated. They have coordinated with crazy work schedules and doctor appointments. And been very patient with our fluctuating childcare issues (we have a new baby in the family).
I looked at least a dozen ABA programs and therapists for my toddler and stumbled upon Cultivate, founded by Rob and Katie El Fattal. I was more inclined to a strictly center based facility but Rob's enthusiasm and tenacity in working with my schedule and my insurance and the thorough assessment process BEFORE services won me over. Since day one, they have been an amazing support and resource.

Since they have 4 children of their own they understand life is complicated. Having a background in Autism as well as childhood development they have been able to explain things as experts in a very digestible manner. Most importantly, I see remarkable progress with my son and he gets excited about therapy with Cultivate!
With an eleven year old child with Asperger's, we have had many therapists over the years. Yet, we have never had the remarkable experience as we have had with Cultivate. I finally feel like we are part of a team that wants nothing more than my son's success and well-being - for him to be ALL HE CAN BE despite his "disability". Rob, the owner, the BCBA and the behavior therapists are always available - any time - to support us, whether it's during therapy time or not. Not only are they there for William, but we feel fully supported as a family. My son is a difficult case, and the team is always ready to meet the challenge - with gusto! This is more than just a job for the people at Cultivate; it's a calling, a mission, a heartfelt purpose. Cultivate has given us hope again. We see the progress our son has made and are certain he can reach his goals with the support of Cultivate.
As a "data geek" myself, it is hard to impress me with most of the assessments and analysis I have seen from ECI or other sources. Cultivate uses a sophisticated software system so they are constantly tracking progress seamlessly - using a tablet, phone or even a smart watch. The goals and action plans are clearly defined and they share with us the progress he is making daily. Furthermore, we have write ups and videos regarding lessons so we can see him learning and replicate the trials with him.
After trial and error and lots of therapists, I give Cultivate a gold star recommendation.
Everyone on their staff has been competent, professional and extremely impressive. Rob and Katie LOVE what they do and their team members are just as enthusiastic. It makes a difference when working with people that take pride in their jobs. ABA techs have a very high turnover, and burnout is easy. Rob and Katie take a personal interest in each case and each case worker; it is an integrated sustainable approach that keeps moral high and progress moving forward.
